PICK UP DAY: Totes should be out on your scheduled pickup day by 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Totes are to be placed together at the end of the driveway as close to the street as possible.*Should there be a shared driveway, totes should be placed together in a cluster on one side of the driveway. DO NOT SEPARATE! Please label totes with house numbers (duct tape & sharpie).
TOTES: Must be unobstructed for consistent service and sitting at the edge of the road. For example, paths to totes must be reasonably clear of snow, snow drifts, ice and vehicles, etc... Nothing should be blocking your totes when curbside for pickup. All lids must be closed completely. Metal catch bars must be facing the street.
Please, do not modify your totes, to make them bear proof. Bungee cords and ratchet straps can be used but they MUST be unfastened on pickup day. (Use at your own risk, we are not responsible for lost or damaged straps of any kind). If totes are chained, tied to trees or fencing, please have chains or straps removed prior to pick up service and brought to the end of your driveway.
WEIGHT LIMIT: Please do not overload your totes. By doing so this can break your tote or the arm on our tuck. Limit is 150LBS.
*Please do not put extra bags of trash on top of totes, set them next to the totes on the ground.
**All trash inside of the trash tote must be bagged, nothing loose.
SSP WASTE is not responsible for picking up trash spread out by animals, high winds or other unknown reasons.
NOT ALLOWED IN TOTES: Substances hazardous to health such as toxic or corrosive materials, medical waste, or animal carcasses of any kind, asbestos, liquid paint or stain, tires, gas containers, fluorescent tubes, vehicle batteries, engine parts of any kind, household appliances such as but not limited to refrigerators, conventional ovens, microwave ovens, washer, dryer, extremely heavy material such as rock, dirt, or concrete are not allowed. No construction debris (wood, tile, sheet rock etc…) is allowed.

BULK ITEMS: We do not offer large, bulk, or special pickups, NO EXCEPTIONS. *Please see junk removal referrals below.
HOLIDAY DELAYS & OTHER DELAYS: You will receive an email for scheduled delays. For unscheduled delays due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to send out an email or contact you by phone.
CARDBOARD BOXES: Manageable size bundles (tied with twine or string), and no larger than 3ft x 3ft each. Bundles must not weigh more than 40 lbs. each, 5 bundles maximum. Please call ahead of time to notify us of bundles outside of the tote. $10 per bundle.*Or cut boxes down to fit inside of your tote with the lid closed.
EXTRAS: Household trash is $10.00 per bag. 5 Bags max, should be of manageable weight and size, no more than 40lbs (up to 32 gallon size bags). Please notify us of extras by calling 303-838-6033 option 1; 24 hours in advance. These bags will only be picked up on your non-recycle weeks. *Bags must sit to the side of your tote.
EXTRAS TOTES: $8.00 per month.
BEE BAG: Are available for SSP WASTE customers only; 3-yard cloth dumpster: $250 (4’x4’x6’ or 80 sq ft).

YARD WASTE: A maximum of 5 bags of yard waste or branch bundles (40 lbs. each, tied w/ twine or string, no more than 3 ft length in size) will be picked up on your non-recycle weeks only. This is a service for WEEKLY customers only. *32 gal black contractor bags or paper yard waste bags are accepted. (No Christmas Trees) This is a free service. There may be times we cannot take all 5 bags/bundles. Trash is a priority over yard waste.
BEAR-PROOF TOTE: Not available through SSP WASTE. Personal bear-proof totes may be used but are required to have a metal tip bar and be between the sizes of 65-96 gallons. (May be purchased at your local hardware store or Amazon).

Commercial Dumpster Services
If you’re in need of a commercial dumpster for your business, SSP Waste would be happy to assist you with that as well! We’ve expanded our trash services to include commercial waste removal and can assist you with your construction and remodeling projects.
